Jeff Bezos Is The Real Night King

If you are like me, you have been captivated with the final season of Game of thrones.

For the last 8 seasons various houses and kingdoms have been fighting with each other for the crown while the REAL threat has been slowly emerging.

An army of undead warriors void of fear or emotion has come to swallow the entire planet! The white walkers present a real threat to all humankind!

Just like the characters on game of thrones we are all going about our lives consumed with our traditional battles between houses and kingdoms completely blind to the real threat that is coming.

Technology is coming to destroy every aspect of life as you know it.

Just like the white walker army, it has no fear or emotion and will swallow every industry in its way.

The real night king Jeff Bezos has already swallowed book stores and now has his sights on all retail.

Uber has made cabs obsolete overnight.

Air B&B is coming for hotels.

Netflix and co have replaced cable…Do you see a trend emerging?

NO INDUSTRY IS SAFE!

Your only hope is to adapt to the inevitable.

With each new breakthrough in technology, every industry needs less and less employees. Technology is reshaping the whole concept of jobs and employees. The idea of showing up to a building for 8 hours and getting a salary/benefits/and vacations is fading away.

You have heard this before.

Gary Vaynerchuck tried to warn you start developing your internet chops. Glendon Cameron told you to start a business. Seth Godin tried to explain this transition from the industrial age to the information age, yet you still want to think that you are safe.

You still want to think your degree, your years at the company, or your specific industry can save you.

No industry is safe!

Once Jon Snow was able to see that the real threat was not the Lannister house but the white walker army, his perspective changed.

He didn’t care who was king or queen because he knew that none of that would matter if the white walkers took over the planet.

I know it is tempting to fixate on your traditional foes. It may be House of Trump, house of gender equality, house of immigration, or whatever form of “other” you prefer. I am encouraging you to shift your focus on the real war on the horizion.

Technology does not care about your gender, race, political affiliation, or nationality. Its coming to wipe out your way of life.

Much like the inhabitants of winterfell, I encourage you to prepare yourself. Start developing the skills that will help you survive this worldwide shift.

There is a tremendous opportunity for those who understand this change that is taking place. Unfortunately, I feel many of you won’t believe it until you get called into the office for the “talk”.

No industry is safe.

Get your Valyrian steel and dragon glass before its too late.
