C Is My Best Friend

Poetry

C is my best friend.
Her name has O, Fs and Es.
O as in Obsession,
F as in Freedom
And E as in Enthusiasm.
But C should also have As.
A for Anxiety and Addiction that C creates in me
When her fragrance runs down my nose.

Can you guess, who C is?
Or should I ask her to come out of her tiny room?
C’s quite shy.
Stays in a little place.
And hold a tiny place at my home but has my heart, darling.
After all, C is my best friend.

I like her dark color,
as much as I love the lunar Halo.
While in the talk, I ask her so many questions.
I hope C doesn’t get offended.

I offer some warm water, C loses herself into,
and helps me see through my thoughts.
In days when I want to have a sweet conversation,
I ask her if C wants some sugar.
C agrees mostly.

Through hard times and celebrations.
Accompany to my days and to my nights.
I can talk to her and never feel judged.
Thanks, C.
And I don’t want any day with “Long time no C”.
Because you are my best friend!!
