Why Freemium Games Are Really Not Free

Here is why freemium games are not really free as they claim to be.

People are downloading games like Candy Crush and Tiny Tower, and those games are available for free to download. But when you want to get more power ups or video game currency or any kind of in-app purchase, you have to end up using actual real life money to purchase them. That in my mind, is really dumb. Me and my family use the money to pay the bills.

I downloaded a Family Guy game called the Family Guy Freakin’ Mobile Game, and just like Candy Crush, they have certain features that you cannot get without using real life money in order to have them. I really did not want to spend money on coins that you can only use in the game. It would be a waste of my family’s hard-earned money. Making purchases on freemium games is not worth it.
