The Planner

October 15, 2020 (Bible Devotional)

God has an excellent plan for us. We should complain less and believe more. We have no full understanding of how God is architecting our lives now, yet further along, God will make all things evident. Satan would present to us many false accusations against God. Yet, we should never give heed to the theories of Satan. Since the beginning of time, this serpent tries to convince humanity that God does not desire our good. And Satan suggests that if we follow our path that we should become wise.

The plan of God for us is always better than anything else that this world can offer. While God does not show us how he will guide us, he tells us that he has good thoughts toward us. God speaks peace over our lives. We should learn to brace for disruption and storms because with us, the God of peace. Some intervals of our lives might require that we move into captivity, yet we will always have liberty in Christ.

Sadly, many seem to think that God is against him. The good news is that God never apologizes. He is just and in all his ways. He never changes, and everything that he does is pure and noble. We have no right to be mad at “God.” We may become convinced that God is against us in our short limitations, yet this is not true. God desires the peace of all his creations. And while we may face situations that we cannot always explain, we know that still has peace thoughts toward us.

Friends, let us stop worrying. We may not know what the future hold. In our period of transition, we can always have fear about what will happen next. Yet, our hope is never lost. Peace be upon you. Be of Good Cheer! Christ has a plan to bring us to an expected end. The Alpha and Omega knows the lot from the beginning. Let us believe and trust him. God is thinking toward us. He is looking for ways to make our lives fuller and richer. We may have to face trials, yet through it, all our songs remain — God is good.

Do you believe that God has good plans for you?

The Prayer — Heavenly Father, thank you for your love for us. Please give us the patience to never down your plan for us. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
