Where is my brain?

Sometimes I feel I live superficially…My writing only skims the surface. I am obsessively naval gazing but never breaking the surface to have a real breakthrough. Even the past digital campaign analytics reports I prepared assessed surface level analytics. I think the last time I did a real analysis was in the non-profit…for the campaign I was invested in.

But I listened to the Jane Fonda episode of WTF, and I think it’s going to be life-changing. I cried listening to it on the bus ride home. I wept, cried and sobbed at home listening.

That woman is incredible. I am convinced she is authentic. The real McCoy.

I will be listening to that interview again to absorb it.

I somehow feel I am not alone in this despair, or mid-life crisis. And that there could be a way out of the lost path I find myself in.
